apohadromonymy
Definition
- The fact that two nomina (or more) are hadromonyms, among which the junior one was subsequently referred to a mutogenus (genus of a subsequent combination) and the rectogenus (given genus in a taxonomy) is the priscogenus (original genus combined with the nomen in the original publication) of the senior one. Each one is called an apohadromonym. Under the Zoocode, the junior one is permanently invalid. (Dubois & Aescht et al. 2019 (LZC, Session 24))
